SCDNR Officers Returning Home from Texas

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Officers with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources who deployed to Texas to aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey are on their way home.
The officers were deployed two weeks ago.
A DNR spokesperson says they worked in the floodwaters of Jasper and Newton counties checking homes and transporting people and their pets to safety.
