Columbia Police : Multiple People Injured in Vista Shooting

COLUMBIA , SC  (WOLO) –Columbia Police are investigating a shooting in the Vista which happened in the early morning hours Saturday.

Deputy Chief Kelly says multiple people were hurt, ranging from critical to grazes, near Park and Lady Streets.

Reports of shots fired came in at 2:12 a.m., say police.

Deputy Chief Kelly did not say how many victims, but did say where the shooting took place was “heavily populated” at the time.

Columbia Police say they will be looking at surveillance cameras from the area.  They are asking if anyone has information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
