Lexington Police to Conduct Traffic Safety Checkpoints

LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO)– Lexington Police will be setting up traffic safety check points on Monday, September 18.

The Police Chief says the checkpoints are in response to continued concerns of traffic collisions.

According to Police, the safety enforcement will include, focusing on speed in school zones, seatbelt usage,
following too closely, speeding and aggressive driving, as well as texting while driving.
