USC’s Ryan Succop named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Former Gamecock and current Titans kicker Ryan Succop has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for September.

He’s made 10-of-11 field goals in the Titans’ first three games, and is a perfect 8-of-8 on extra points, which is good for ninth this season in NFL scoring.

According to the Titans, Succop is the second Titans kicker to win a Player of the Month Award (Rob Bironas, October 2007).
