LEXINGTON SC (WOLO)–Sleepy Hollow, the time honored tale of a jittery school master and a horseman with no head rides its way to the stage at the Village Square Theatre this weekend, with the Chris Cook adaptation of the classic book.

According to Cook, who not only wrote the play, based on the 1820 Washington Irving novel, but plays Ichabod Crane, explains that this version stays pretty close to the original tale, with some surprises for audiences.

The show, which may not be suitable for children, opens on October 27 and runs through the first weekend of November.
