RCSD: Two arrested in unsolved shootings, one suspect remains at-large
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Deputies with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department arrested two teens and charged them with attempted murder and another suspect remains at-large.
Anthony Haltiwanger, 18, and Malik Williams, 19, are charged with attempted murder.
Investigators are currently seeking a third suspect, Dariun Carter, 20, for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
On October 15, deputies say the trio fired multiple shots into a home in the 2100 block of Wilkinson Drive following a prior altercation with one of the two victims who were inside.
Haltiwanger is also charged with attempted murder involving a shooting in the 100 block of Saddlechase Lane on September 27th and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
Deputies on say, Haltiwanger shot at the victim striking a bystanders vehicle after he and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation.
No one was injured.
Investigators say they discovered the shooting to stem from an ongoing music feud.
