Deebo Samuel to return to football in February

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Gamecock football coach Will Muschamp announced today that wide receiver Deebo Samuel would return to practice for spring ball in February.

Deebo missed the last nine games of the season with a broken leg.

The Gamecocks will be down two defensive players this spring, though. Linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams and defensive back Jamyest Williams will not participate this spring, as both recover from shoulder surgeries.

Allen-Williams missed over half the season, while Williams comes off an All-Freshman season.
