Panthers defensive coordinator named Cardinals head coach

According to multiple outlets, including ESPN, Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Steve Wilks is expected to be named the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.

ESPN reports the Panthers would likely promote defensive line coach Eric Washington to defensive coordinator.

Wilks replaces Bruce Arians who coached the Cardinals from 2013-17.
