Glenn McConnell Announces Retirement
Charleston, SC (WOLO) — You could call it the end of an era. College of Charleston President Glenn McConnell has decided to retire this summer.
McConnell announced his plans today saying he took a hard look at his health and energy at age seventy and determined it was time to slow down.
McConnell took over at the College of Charleston in 2014 after serving in the state senate from 1980 through 2012.
