SCE&G To Host Energy Efficient Neighborhood Program in Blackville

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Looking to get your house more energy efficient? SCE&G is hosting a community meeting about the Neighborhood Energy Efficiency Program.

According to SCE&G, this meeting is for Blackville residents and will offer energy assessments, education and the direct installation of energy-saving improvements to more than 1,000 participating customers at no charge.

In addition to the energy-saving measures, approximately 100 customers who own mobile and manufactured homes will receive some weatherization upgrades, such as attic insulation and air and duct sealing, say officials.
