Update: Missing Sumter woman located in Mississippi

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)- A missing 71-year-old from Sumter is safe and will be reunited with her family. According to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, Judith Cole was located in Mississippi. No word yet on what Cole was doing in Mississippi at the time she was found. Authorities say she left her home Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. before being spotted in Pickens County at 2:15 p.m. Monday afternoon. Cole’s family says she is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s Disease.
