Police: Drugs and Gun Land Woman in Jail

Kershaw Co., SC (WOLO) — The Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office says 21 year old Alexia Shontae Johnson was arrested after authorities say they discovered evidence that made it appear she Johnson had been selling several different types of drugs over the past year.

Chief Deputy Jack Rushing says they’ve been watching Johnson for sometime and after getting multiple reports of Johnson selling a variety of drugs. When Johnson was pulled over for a traffic stop authorities say they smelled an odor of marijuana. Further search of the car led Deputies to two book bags containing 7 and a half ounces of marijuana, scales, 2 grams of heroin and a stolen handgun.

Authorities say this is Johnson’s 3rd drug related arrest and will the 5th circuit solicitor’s office says with that in mind they plan to ask for a higher bond.
