Gaffney “Peachoid” Vandalized

Gaffney, SC (WOLO) — A famous South Carolina roadside attraction is now blocked off.

Officials in Gaffney have placed a barbed wire fence around the “peach” water tower due to vandalism.
The “peachoid” as it has been dubbed, can be seen from I-85 in the Upstate.

Officials say they are keeping people at bay after a series of nighttime acts of vandalism at the iconic site.
