Mental Illness Recovery Center breaks ground on home for men

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – A new home is on the way for those in need.

The Mental Illness Recovery Center held a ground breaking Wednesday (3/22) for a 2,900 square foot housing project for men between the ages of 17 and 24.

Organizers say the facility fills a need in the community.

Construction on the new facility is expected to be complete in July.
