UPDATE: All-clear after multiple agencies respond to incident in Newberry County involving ‘suicidal suspect’ barricaded in home

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – Authorities with the Newberry County Sheriff’s office say that a person who barricaded himself in a home earlier today has been taken into custody.
The incident happened at a home on Silas Street.
SLED agents, Newberry County PD, Newberry City Fire and EMS assisted in the apprehension of the person.
