COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – South Carolina leads the nation in the percentage of Alzheimer’s deaths.

A report by the National Alzheimer’s Association shows more than 2,400 in our state died from the disease in 2015.

South Carolina had the 8th highest percentage per population the previous year.
