Columbia, SC (WOLO) — South Carolina is among the least safe states in the country according to a survey released recently.

According to wallethub.com, South Carolina is the tenth least safe state in the Country.
The study was based on factors like, traffic fatalities per miles traveled, murders per capita, and assaults per capita.
Vermont was ranked as the safest State.
