AP: James Smith projected winner of Democratic Primary

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO) – The AP is reporting that James E. Smith, Jr. is the projected winner of the SC Democratic primary for Governor.

James Smith is currently a member of the South Carolina Representatives and a veteran and serving officer in the South Carolina Army National Guard.

Smith will go on to face the Republican nominee in the November elections.
