Sales tax holiday weekend announced

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – The Department of Revenue has released the dates for the annual “Sales Tax Holiday” weekend.

It will run Friday, August 3, through Sunday, August 5th.

Some of the tax free items are perfect for back to school shopping. Those include paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, and book bags.

Computers, clothing, shoes, bed linens, and bath towels are also on the tax free list.
