Columbia, SC (WOLO) — After serving the country overseas in Afghanistan for the last year members of the South Carolina National Guard’s 151st attack reconnaissance battalion defended is getting a well deserved heroes welcome.

ABC Columbia news was on hand this afternoon as some of the 200 guardsmen and women returned to Columbia Metropolitan Airport. Soldiers we spoke with say there is no place like home.
