Wild Fire Clouds

This cloud was created by the heat rising up from the Carr Wild Fire in Northern California. It’s called a Pyrocumulus cloud. It comes from Latin where pyro means fire and cumulus means piling up. These clouds often produce more lightning, which is exactly what you don’t want around a wild fire, because the lightning can touch off more fires.
