COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – If you were up very early Tuesday (7/31) morning you may have seen Mars in a new light.

Mars came as close to Earth as it has in 15 years.

Astronomers say mars will not be this close again until 2035.

If you did not see it, experts say Mars will remain visible for the next few weeks.
