All SC Schools required to have active shooter drills

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — Schools across the state are now required to have both an active shooter drill and an intruder drill each semester. These drills are required under the school safety law passed last Spring.

The law is one of several passed in the state following the shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida that left 17 students and teachers dead and injured 17 others.
