PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WOLO) – A Tennessee pet rescue drove nine hours to save animals in Hurricane Florence’s path.
Big Fluffy Dog Rescue made the trip to Pawleys Island Tuesday (9/11) to pick up about 30 dogs and cats from shelters.
The animals will stay at the rescue’s kennel.
The rescue says the goal is to get the pets out of the area so people can deal with storm as it makes its way toward the east coast.
