Former Gamecock wideout cut by Texans

HOUSTON, TX (WOLO) —  A Gamecock great was cut by the Houston Texans Wednesday.

Wide receiver Bruce Ellington, who was on injured reserve because of a hamstring injury suffered in week three, was released by the team, according to multiple reports.

Ellington caught eight passes for 92 yards and a touchdown this season.
