Flu activity in SC steadily increasing for the third week, SCDHEC officials say

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced that flu activity in South Carolina is widespread in the state for the third week in a row.

There have been 578 reported cases and 19 deaths for this years’ flu season.

However, there has been a decrease of flu activity in the Midlands.
