Florence officer injured in mass shooting returns to work

FLORENCE, S.C. (WPDE) – One of the officers injured in last year’s ambush in Florence is back on the job.

A spokesperson for the Florence County Sheriff’s Office tells WPDE that Scott Williamson returned to light duty this morning.

Williamson was one of seven officers who were shot while serving a warrant on a Florence home last October.
