SLED arrests former Cherokee County deputy for domestic violence

CHEROKEE, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Law Enforcement Division officials have arrested a former Cherokee Co. deputy on Monday.

Authorities say Timothy Hill-Brasier, 49, is charged with third-degree domestic violence and misconduct in office.

According to investigators, in January, Brasier is accused of assaulting a victim during an argument in Cherokee County.

SLED officials also say he’s accused of having sexual relations while on duty.

He was held at the Cherokee County Detention Center but posted surety bond of over $10,000.
