Astronaut Charles Duke comes home to SC for space week

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) — Students had a real out of this world experience at the state museum this morning. Astronaut and South Carolina native Charles Duke attended a screening of chasing the moon before taking questions from the students.

Duke says he hopes today’s lesson will spark the students’ interest in space. Friday’s visit was part of space week at the museum which runs through this weekend.
