Some Lexington students return to class with a celebration

The first day of school for some students in the Midlands is now in the books.

Classes got underway Monday morning for several districts including Lexington Two and Three.
Not to far away at Cayce Elementary in Lexington two they celebrated the first day of school with a “happy new year” party, complete with a ball drop and confetti.
