Local Living: Teal Pumpkins and Monday Movie Review

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–Chocolates, candy, and pumpkins all staples of Halloween and trick-or-treating.

But while a majority of kids get to load up on the sweet stuff, some with food allergies don’t get that chance.
So again this Halloween, the ‘Teal Pumpkin Project’ is ready to go  The group ‘Food Allergy Research and Education’ – or FARE, is encouraging homeowners to put a teal pumpkin on their doorstep.  It alerts families there are non-food treats – like small toys,  available to the kids.

If a trip to the movies is on your list of things to do in ‘Local Living’, it’s ‘Movie Monday’ on the News at Five.
‘Zombieland Double Tap’ took third place at the box office this weekend.
