CAYCE, SC (WOLO)– Hundreds of law enforcement continue the search for missing 6 year old Faye Swetlik from Cayce.

Wednesday morning Investigators continued their search for Faye Swetlik, walking down Londonderry Lane and knocking on doors. Our Tim Scott is on scene.

Law enforcement asks for anyone with information to come forward.

(Courtesy: Cayce DPS) Officers say Faye Swetlik is missing from Churchill Heights Neighborhood in Cayce.

On Tuesday night a prayer vigil for the 6 year old was held. The Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Cayce started off the vigil by describing Faye’s personality.

Tuesday evening,  Cayce Department of Public Safety Director, Byron Snellgrove, provided an update in the search for the missing child.

Officials there, described Faye as an energetic first grader at Springdale Elementary school. She loves dresses, fancy shoes spending time with her family and playing outside, said Snellgrove.

“We’ve all been gathered here today for one thing, and that’s to find Faye.”

Throughout the day on Tuesday, Lexington County Deputies said Law Enforcement was canvassing homes to talk to neighbors and interview drivers as they enter and leave missing Sweltik’s neighborhood.

Police say Faye was last seen on Monday afternoon around 3:45. Authorities say she got off the school bus and went to play in the yard. She was last seen in the Churchill Heights neighborhood, say Cayce Department of Public Safety officials.

Officials released an updated missing poster.
