Body of missing 6 year old Faye Swetlik found, Police now treating case as homicide

Law enforcement officials have confirmed the body of six-year-old Faye Swetlik was found in the Churchill Neighborhood Thursday

CAYCE, SC (WOLO)– Law enforcement officials have confirmed the body of six-year-old Faye Swetlik was found in the Churchill Neighborhood Thursday.

Byron Snellgrove, Cayce’s Director of Public Safety, says they found the body of six-year-old Faye Swetlik. Snellgrove also said they found the body of a man in the Churchill Heights neighborhood.

Police say they are now treating the case as a homicide.

According to Snellgrove, there is no danger to the community.

Details were limited at the time of the announcement Thursday afternoon.
