Motorcyclist killed in crash on Chapin Road in Richland

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person died after a fatal motorcycle crash on Saturday.

Troopers say it happened on Chapin Road around 2:40 p.m.

According to investigators, the victim’s motorcycle went off the road and overturned, ejecting the driver, who died on scene.

Officials say the victim was not wearing a helmet.

Richland County Coroner’s Office and Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
