COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Columbia Fire Department says a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a train overnight.

Officials say it happened on Hardscrabble Road before 3 a.m.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Richland County Coroner’s Office is investigating.
