Columbia City Hall glowing purple to raise awareness for domestic violence

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Thursday night, the City of Columbia will light up City Hall in purple. “Purple Thursday” recognizes October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

City leaders say City Hall will be illuminated in purple Thursday night to raise awareness about the problems of abuse and violence taking place in the community.
