Squirrel causes power outages in downtown Columbia Monday morning

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– A power outage that impacted parts of downtown Columbia from Main and Gervais Street to Assembly Street for nearly and hour and a half Monday morning has been restored. Our ABC Columbia studios were among those affected.

Dominion energy crews were on scene, and said the outage was caused by equipment damage from a squirrel.
