Governor McMaster urges South Carolinians to be celebrate the new year safely to limit coronavirus spread

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– On Tuesday, Governor Henry McMaster released a statement, via Twitter, encouraging South Carolinians to be mindful of COVID-19 guidelines and regulations while celebrating the new year.

The governor noted that gatherings, both indoor and outdoor, may not exceed a population of of 250 people or 50% occupancy. McMaster urges South Carolinians not to let their guard down while celebrating in the coming days.
