SC Department of Agriculture accepting applications for hemp farming permits

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– If you’re looking for a job, how about growing hemp. Starting Friday, the South Carolina Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for hemp farming permits. Applicants must pay a non-refundable $100 application fee and a $1,000 permit fee among other requirements.

Hemp farming is in its fourth year in South Carolina.
