CDC: South Carolina ranks worst in the nation in distributing vaccine allotment
COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, South Carolina is the worst in the nation in distributing its allotment of coronavirus vaccines. Their data shows more than 6,000 vaccines per 100,000 have been administered in the state.
During a conference Monday afternoon, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control Interim Director of Public Health says they are taking steps to make sure more people get the vaccine.
