SC Senate votes to pass the Fetal Heartbeat Bill

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The South Carolina Senate voted Thursday to pass the Fetal Heartbeat Bill with a 30-13 vote.

The bill now has exceptions for pregnancies caused by rape, incest and when the mother’s life is in danger. Fetal heartbeats are usually around the sixth week of pregnancy, and before most women know they’re pregnant.
