Security increased at the Capitol as the impeachment trial begins

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– As the second impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump starts Tuesday, law enforcement officials are beefing up security around the Capitol in case of violence. All nine House democratic impeachment managers have security details following them around.

As of right now, federal law enforcement officials say they are not tracking any “specific and credible” threats, but will remain on high alert.
