571 new cases of COVID-19, 33 deaths in SC Saturday
COLUMBIA (WOLO): Saturday, the Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 571 new cases of COVID-19 in the state. Another 33 South Carolinians died from the virus.
South Carolina has now reported 454,158 total cases of the virus since the pandemic began a year ago, and 7,842 total deaths.
Of the 36,679 most recent COVID-19 tests taken, DHEC reports 3.6% came back positive.
