RCSD investigating weekend shooting at Hookah club on Broad River Road

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Sheriff’s Department says they are investigating after a shooting took place at Hookah on the River, located at Broad River Road. Around 10 a.m. Saturday, deputies say they responded to a hospital for reports of an assault involving a man who had been shot. According to authorities, the man told them he had been shot earlier that morning while he was at Hookah on the River. Deputies say the man told them he was dropped off at the hospital after he was shot in the upper body.
