SCDNR: Three injured after two boats collided on Lake Murray in Prosperity

PROSPERITY, S.C. (WOLO) – The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources says three people were injured after two boats collided on Lake Murray Saturday.

Authorities say it happened near the Buffalo Creek Marina around 10:50 p.m.

According to investigators, none of the injuries are life-threatening but the victims were taken to local hospitals.

SCDNR says one of the boat operators was issued a citation for the incident.

This collision remains under investigation.
