One man killed after a shooting on Harmon Hill Court in Hopkins

HOPKINS, S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday night.

Authorities say around 11:09 p.m., they were dispatched to the 100 block of Harmon Hill Court for a shooting.

According to investigators, they found EMS treating a male victim with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

Deputies say the victim later died at a local hospital.

They also say this appears to be an isolated incident.
