Richland County Council honors member who passed away last August

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Richland County Council gathered Tuesday for a specially called meeting to continue discussion on the county’s budget.

Members honored the late Chip Jackson, who served on the council until his death last year. Some of Jackson’s family was in attendance and were presented an award on his behalf. Jackson served District 9 for two terms, until his death in August 2020.
