Coldest Time of the Year is Getting A Lot Warmer

For us here in the Midlands, the historically coldest time of the year is roughly between the 6th and 10th of January.  But over the past 50 years, the average temperature during the coldest time of the year is now 5 degrees warmer.  This is consistent with the warming observed over most of the globe over the past several decades.
