So What is the Jet Stream

It’s likely that you’ve heard the term “Jet Stream” used in weather reports.  A quick definition is that it’s a fast-flowing river of air that’s roughly 6-8 miles up.  But there’s a lot more to it than just that.  Here’s a quick read to get you more acquainted with it.
