South Carolina family demanding answers after daughter dies in New Orleans
CNN– A South Carolina mom is demanding answers tonight. Ciaya Whetstone, a former University of New Orleans student, died nearly two weeks ago after an Uber driver dropped her off at a hospital. Whetstone’s family says authorities have not told them anything, and that Uber driver has not contacted them.

The coroner’s office has not released a cause of death or manner of death in the case. The office says it is waiting for toxicology results, which could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.
